During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the lead actor of the franchise was asked about the return of her “mentor” in the upcoming installment of the successful film series directed by Patty Jenkins.
During the recent DC FanDome event, Patty Jenkins, director of the Wonder Woman franchise, hinted at the upcoming Wonder Woman 3 movie and revealed that the film would feature herself, Gal Gadot, and Lynda Carter, who was the original television Wonder Woman. Gadot expressed her excitement to work with Carter again, revealing that she had mentored her since the beginning of her role as Wonder Woman. Although there are no further details about the film, Gadot promised that the collaboration would be even better this time. Meanwhile, Gadot is promoting her latest project, Netflix’s Red Notice, and has been confirmed to play the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action Snow White adaptation. She expressed her enthusiasm for the role, calling it a special project with amazing people involved.
